My wife, Hannah, and I worked in full time youth ministry at our home church for nearly 9 years, before stepping into a U.S. Missions role as Youth Alive Missionaries 14 years ago. We have worked to reach the American Teenager by connecting the church to the campus!
The Holy Spirit has stirred our hearts to see greater impact within the city of Pueblo, CO., the city that we have grown up in and still live in today! Starting in January 2025, I will be working as the FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) Area Director for greater Pueblo. We are excited about pouring our time, energy, and effort into reaching students within our hometown for Christ!
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Chester, for 15 years. We have 2 beautiful daughters, Maddison, 13 and Olivia, 8. I love crafting, enjoying time in nature, baking, and any activity I get to do with my family. I am very active in my church, love making new friends, and spending time with My Jesus. I recently joined the Greater Pueblo FCA team in January 2023 and am excited to be a part of what God is doing Pueblo.
I have been serving on staff with FCA since 2018 and joined the Greater Pueblo Team at the beginning of 2023! I am excited to be a part of what God is doing in Pueblo through FCA. FCA plays a big role in my life and has played a big role in many of our family members and friends lives. My husband's grandfather was at the very first camp in Estes Park in 1956. I have been married for 8 years to my husband who is a college football coach at Colorado State University Pueblo and we have a joy filled two year old son!
I have been fortunate to have been a part of FCA throughout my time as a coach, and I know the positive influence it can have on all that are involved. The enormous influence that coaches have on today’s youth can never be overstated. I hope to offer support and encouragement in the mental, physical, and spiritual aspects of coaches’ lives as they are faced with the everyday challenges of being a coach.
My family and I are from Liberia, a country on the west coast of Africa. They currently live in North Dakota and Minnesota in the United States. I was recruited to CSU-Pueblo to run in 2019, which is when I first truly encountered FCA at CSU-Pueblo. Since then, I have been attending the huddle (group meetings) and getting involved with my church. Being in that huddle has helped me grow so much in my walk with Christ. This year, I joined FCA in the mission field to bring the gospel of salvation to the youth of Pueblo, Colorado, through sports, aiming to change lives and the community.
